As a Family ran business since 1977, our absolute priority is the health and safety of our customers, staff and their families. We have therefore taken the decision to suspend our vehicle workshops from Monday the 30th of March.

Sadly, no booking dates can be confirmed at present, but we will use our on-line booking system to prioritise work as soon as we can. We are monitoring the situation very closely and will re-open when we receive clear guidance from the government on a safe return to business for our customers and staff.

Citroen Warranty Policy – COVID-19 Update

If a customer is unable to go to the Authorised Repairer for a Service because of the Self Isolation/Coronavirus and they are anxious to keep the benefits of the Warranty on their vehicle:

  • The tolerance on the service interval will be increased during the period affected by the COVID-19 crisis. They can postpone the service interval up to 1800 miles or 3 months after the recommendation of the maintenance plan.

MOT’s & TAXING YOUR CURRENT VEHICLE

From Monday 30th of March 2020, MOT due dates for cars, motorcycles and light vans will be extended by 6 months in order to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. For further information please go to.

If your vehicle tax is due and you currently cannot re-tax it due to the MOT be expired, you will be able to tax your vehicle as soon as your MOT due date has been updated and extended by 6 months. For further information please go to.

MOTABILITY

At present, Motability are unable to process any new or further applications to the scheme. Please feel free to browse our website and research your next vehicle for when the scheme opens again.

If you have a new Motability vehicle on order with Town Centre Automobiles, we are sorry that this must be delayed until we receive clear guidance from the government it is safe to return to business.

If your current Motability agreement is coming to an end, it will automatically be extended for 6 months to keep you mobile during this time. There is no need for you to contact Motability and your insurance will be continued on your vehicle – this applies to all vehicles within 3 months of their renewal date.
